Streamlining Process for Biennial CW Competition

Every other year we hold a writing contest with a prize of a $30,000 scholarship to the Academy. This has proven to be a very important and effective recruitment tool for CW as CW has yielded 20 students for the Academy in the past two contest cycles.

CW moved to online submissions last year and had over 300 submissions, and they anticipate more in the future.

The next contest deadline is Dec. 15, 2012. To streamline this process for readers and Aimн© and Janet Morris in Admissions, weду»d like to consider the following:

Using Slide Room for submissions so faculty can read them online vs having them printed out. The issue is how to keep submissions anonymous--would we use Slide Room on our end after students have uploaded submissions? We will work on this with Margaret Fako

Would it be possible for students who submit to the contest to be automatically entered in EnrollmentRx/SalesForce? (Another question for Margaret Fako?)
