Current solutions are complicated.
As an example, admissions materials are collected in many ways: Online, documents via email, documents via fax, documents via mail, etc.
End up having to print everything when we review candidates so that is finally in one form.
Report writing is also very complex given the number of fields / structure of the data that we currently have in place.
Maybe half of that is process and half is the underlying technology.

Need to remedy the inconsistencies in both of these programs.

Math-Science students do a few projects (element project and research project on a luminescent object/animal/thing so far this year) and they would like a way to display these online. For example, to have an online periodic table where students/parents could click on a square and be taken to the element project. Something similar for the luminescent project. Both projects have video, images and/or documents associated with them. A way to visually organize them and have them accessible online would be great. Google Sites was tried this year, but the desired result was more complicated then what I could do in Google Sites.

Annual personnel performance appraisals should be completely online for the sake of efficiency and process. This is possible with ADP, though the details need to be worked through.

Scanning and faxing logistics.
Either new hardware or more training on shared scanning and faxing software.

Printing statements that are a mile high. Need to migrate to email.
Camp and academy.
Parent portal will also help with this.
Depositing money into their personal accounts.
Provide parents with the ability to chat with the business office as well (rather than always being on the phone).

Students who are off campus need the ability to join classes remotely.
Enables them to stay up to date reasonably.
Hard to catch-up if you are two weeks behind.
Also need to be able to provide in-class workshop participation capability (not just recorded lectures).
